Fernando was born the youngest of four brothers in the South American Andes. Raised by his mother - a fashion manufacturing designer - he remembers his early schooling as being fun.

At age sixteen, Fernando began producing a variety of works for a living: portraits, landscapes, murals, poster, book covers and movie billboards. "I felt the need to explore all the avenues that presented themselves to me, to be a Jack-of-all-trades," he remembers. He found pleasure in accepting never- before-attempted challenges, to the point of life-threatening situations. In addition, he did not limit himself to just solo productions. Group productions were welcome outlets for his creativity.

Today, Fernando is aiming his multifaceted talents and energies at fusing the traditional easel with the latest digital technologies. "This is what I always wanted to do," he explains, "exploring this endles creativity with a sense of purpose."
