Gale Pitt
Gale Pitt has been a freelance artist since the seventies. She has sold her originals and licensed her pictures of a wide variety of subjects to companies in the USA, Europe and the Antipodes. She has been particularly successful in her work for decorative tin boxes and jigsaw puzzles. From her home in London she has travelled to forty different countries, gathering material for her work and promoting it at International Trade Fairs. She paints pictures of ballooning, beaches, flight, fantasy, dolls' houses, gardens, cats and dogs - any thing or creature requested. A popular theme has been the alphabet. Her paintings may include ten items for every letter - difficult when X and Z are reached. Her animals and other decorative themes are being printed onto fabric and wall murals in the USA this year. There is no end to her inventiveness and delight in the wonders of the natural world and of human artefacts.
